  • Mobile Phone Number: US mobile phone number (E.164 format), collected at registration for SMS notifications and security alerts. Stored encrypted; a one-way hash is retained for lookup purposes only.

  • Usage Data: How you interact with our platform, features used, and performance metrics
  • Communication Data: Messages, feedback, and support requests
  • SMS Consent Record: Timestamp of when you provided express written consent to receive SMS communications, retained for TCPA compliance documentation
  • Technical Data: IP address, browser type, device information, and cookies

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our services:

SMS / Text Message Communications

TCPA Notice: By providing your mobile phone number when registering or in your profile settings, you give your express written consent to receive automated SMS and MMS messages from The Sellers Edge. Consent is not required to purchase or access our services.

How We Collect Your Phone Number

Your US mobile phone number is collected at account registration and may be updated in your profile settings at any time. Providing a phone number is required to create an account and enables SMS notification features. The timestamp of your consent is recorded for compliance purposes.

Platform and Messaging Infrastructure

The Sellers Edge is built on the Appslauncher.ai platform, developed and operated by Squared Sigma LLC. The Sellers Edge is a registered messaging brand within Squared Sigma's Twilio account. All SMS and MMS messages are transmitted through Twilio, Inc., a third-party communications platform. In order to deliver text messages to you, your mobile phone number is shared with Squared Sigma LLC and Twilio, Inc. solely for the purpose of message delivery. Both parties are subject to contractual obligations to protect your data and to use it only for specified delivery purposes.

Types of Messages Sent

  • Workflow Completion: Notification that an AI research report or presentation has finished
  • Daily Brief Alerts: Alerts that your APEX Daily Brief is ready (opt-in preference required)
  • Account & Security Alerts: Password changes, subscription updates, and security events
  • One-Time Passcodes: Authentication codes for identity verification (when enabled)

Message Frequency and Rates

  • Message frequency varies based on your usage, activity, and notification preferences
  • Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier plan
  • The Sellers Edge does not charge for SMS/MMS messages
  • MMS messages include branded imagery where your carrier supports it; fallback to SMS otherwise

Your SMS Rights and Opt-Out

You may opt out of SMS communications at any time:

  • Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe from all future SMS/MMS. You will receive one confirmation message.
  • Reply HELP to any message for support information.
  • Update your notification preferences in Settings › Profile or Settings › Assistant Mode.
  • Remove your phone number from your profile to discontinue all SMS communications.
  • Contact us at [email protected] to request SMS opt-out assistance.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. SMS/MMS is currently available for US mobile numbers only (+1 country code).

Phone Number Security

Your phone number is encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption. A one-way SHA-256 hash of your phone number's digits is stored separately solely for account lookup purposes. The plaintext phone number is never logged or written to plain-text storage.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

  • Service Providers: Trusted third-party vendors who help us operate our platform (payment processors, hosting providers, analytics services)
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law, court order, or government request
  • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
  • Safety and Security: To protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our users
  • With Your Consent: When you explicitly authorize us to share your information
